Steel City Limited

Ride along through the fall colors as The American Steam Railroad Preservation Association charters the private cars Alexander Hamilton and Passiac River to travel between Philadelphia, PA and Pittsburgh, PA behind Amtrak's Pennsylvanian.

The 3 day trip leaves Philadelphia's 30th St Station on Friday November 3rd and whisks you through the meadows and woods of Central Pennsylvania to Pittsburgh.

Known as the Steel City, Pittsburgh will welcome us with one of her finest hotels, the Marriott Center City, and bid us farewell on Sunday for the return trip to Philadelphia. You will have a full day in Pittsburgh to explore the city: check out the Golden Triangle, The Strip District or enjoy some shopping in downtown.

Along the way we'll pass several landmarks, most noteworthy are Harrisburg's Rockville Bridge (The longest stone-arch railroad bridge in the world) and Horseshoe Curve (a world famous railroad landmark).

This trip is chartered by Luxury Rail Vacations through the Morristown & Erie Railway, Inc.
